Mountain Necklace Collection This is a sterling silver mountain necklace forged in the shape of the profile of Mount Baker, Washington, U.S.A. • Sterling Silver forged 16 gauge wire • Sterling Silver 17.5 inch (and 17 inch) long 2.9 mm rolo chain • Sterling Silver hand forged clasp Mt. Baker is the third highest mountain in Washington State with an elevation of 10,781 ft. It is the second most active volcano in the Cascade Range after Mount Saint Helens and is the second most heavily glaciated volcano in the Cascade Range after Mount Rainier. Mount Baker also known as Koma Kulshan or Kulshan to the Native Americans of the area. The mountain can be seen as far away as Nanaimo on Vancouver Island in Canada and as far south (on a clear day) as Tacoma. The inspiration for the mountain necklace collection came from the desire to capture my love of the mountains in my jewelry. The Cascade Mountains of Washington are truly an inspiration in their majesty and diversity. See more to come in the collection. There are two Mount Baker mountain necklaces in stock at this time. Every mountain necklace is made one at a time, so each one is unique.
